Bajando un día de la Fuente el Chivo hacia la Cuenca de Tresabuela, el saco de dormir se suelta y rueda hasta la canal que hay debajo. Al ir a buscarlo, aparecen en la canal varios restos de un vehículo. Son los restos del accidente que ocurrió a finales del 2000. Un todoterreno de la estación de esquí sube al aparcamiento del collado, y una fortísima racha de viento lo lanza hacia el barranco, a terreno de Polaciones. En la caída 2 de los ocupantes salen despedidos y acaban salvando la vida, pero los 3 que quedan dentro caen por la pendiente y acaban falleciendo.
Los restos, en 3 grupos, siguen abajo en la canal.
